How do I change the "from field" showing a different name - when I'm sending the email. It has the wrong name

I notice it said to go to options, the general prefernece and then change the name...but there is no "general preference" just "preference" - AND there is nothing under there to change the name. Need to know ASAP.

If there's no "general preferences" on the option page-----then you must not use Yahoo Classic.





SO---maybe you have Beta mail ???


Try this: go to mail page%26gt;%26gt;options%26gt;%26gt;mail options%26gt;%26gt;accounts (side panel)%26gt;%26gt;add/edit an account%26gt;%26gt;select Yahoo mail (side panel)%26gt;%26gt;edit%26gt;%26gt;scroll to general preferences and you can change the from line here-----then click save.





If you aren't using Yahoo----you really need to let us know what service you ARE using.
