MS Word doc from an email attachment onto my computer.?

I have MS Works and my computer is pretty new. I can't open this email attachment that is Word doc. I can open it in the older version of Yahoo mail but can only view it. I have tried it all. Can you help me out. I have MS Word 2002 In Works

If you can view it, highlight all of the text (select all) and copy (Ctrl C). Open the Works庐 program, click on a blank document and save (Ctrl V). then save your Works庐 document.





The Word庐 document you are trying to download cannot be opened with the version of Word庐 you have, even if you download the file.





There are viewers available on the MicroSoft庐 website for MS Word庐, but I don't think you can edit them or import them into your version.
Reply:Don't OPEN it from Yahoo mail, DOWNLOAD (or "Save") it say to your desktop and then open it with Word. That's it.
Reply:Try downloading OpenOffice. It probably isn't quite as powerful as MSOffice, takes quite a long time to load but its FREE and legal. It can open and edit MSWord, MSExcel and other MSOffice files.

Reply:You have word 2002 in works ? I dont have works, but if you do have word right click on the attatchment select open with then browse to word mark the word.exe and select open or execute or whatever is in your window. If that is kind of hard for you save the attatchment to your drive open word select open file browse to the attatchment and open it.
