How to display the number of drafts in that folder so I'm able to see it on the mail email page?

I have a few drafts of emails that I'm constantly working on. Is there a way that I can put the number of drafts next to the folder on the home email page. For example, when you receive new email, it displays the number of new messages in parentheses - I want to be able to do the same thing but for the draft folder. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks!

Okay, to my knowledge, or at least in my very health-care competitive area of Sioux Falls, SD, hospitals don't really DO volunteer jobs of the nature you sound interested in. My sister volunteered for the cancer society after she was cured, but that was a bunch of Word documents and such, if you really want a taste of the hospitable, want to be beneficial, and wouldn't mind getting paid, apply for a tray job in the cafeteria or something, you will get to take trays up to patients, wear scrubs, stuff like that.

Why won't a clip art image I saved as part of a MS Word Document in HTML display when I try to email it?

Probably because when you saved your MS word Doc as a HTML document, the image was saved with a different name and linked to this document. When you e-mail the page and look at it on another computer, the second computer looks at the page (in HTML) see the file name, which MS Word set, and can't find a file.





Its just like makin a web page, linking to a picture on your computer (not Microsoft default), saving the page, taking it (the HTML page, not the picture) to a friends computer to look at it.

To edit your name as it appears in an IM box...





1). Log into Yahoo! Messenger.


2). Click on Messenger.


3). Click on My Contact Details.


~~If you want to have your First Name only, delete your Last name.


~~If you want to use the Nickname field, delete your First and Last name and enter the name you would like to see in the IM box in the Nickname field.


~~If you want only your Account ID to show, leave all fields blank.


4). Always click Apply and OK when making any changes.

The email being filtered into junk/spam folder is likely. The email addresses may be mis-typed/spelled wrong. Also, it may just be taking a long time for the email to arrive.





Have you sent those people emails before?





If your using an Outlook/Outlook Express type of program that opens your inbox, a virus can affect the emails or even the program is just corrupted and not sending the emails. If your using an internet based email, like yahoo or msn, then a virus would have to be affecting the service provider in order to cause an issue with you sending emails.





You could try sending a few emails to yourself, and see if they come through. The receiving persons service provider will affect the time-frame of receiving the email. If they have a slow service provider, it will take a while before they receive your emails. If it takes a long time to receive your own emails, then there is a problem sending them out.





If you have attachments in the email this can slow it down, but not enough to be noticable unless the receiving service provider does not support the same attachment file sizes. Hope this helps!

Reply: Most times sister it is because the address is not typed correctly or the address itself is wrong or no longer in use .... One thing you should be doing with your computer is restarting it every so often so everything reboots ... Don't forget to defragment it once in a while also .... this helps to keep all files in their respective place's and keeps the computer running fast .....

Even though I don't think your problem is a virus, it's still good to run a virus scan from time to time.

1. Incorrect email address (typing error).





2. Your email arrived in the junk email box or there mailbox is full
Reply:run a scan just to clear any glitches then a cleaner for safe measure . if that fails it could be a prob with your email provider . they could be upgrading the system .

if you just recently changed your email for myspace it may take up to 72 hours for you to get a cancellation account confirmed. if you havent opened your pervious email account to confirm the email account switch then that could also be why. when you change emails on myspace you have to go into the old account you had originally had the myspace account under and confirm that you want to change default email addresses after that wait 24 hours like it says then try to cancel it.

You have an email attachment that is pdf or you want to save the email as pdf. You will have to be more specific but I will walk you through both.





To send an email pdf attachment back is to click on the attachment and save it to your desktop. Then click reply and reattach it by clicking the paper clip icon.





To save it as pdf, you will need adobe pdf maker. If you don't have that you can download a free program that will save the file to a pdf printer. Click print button and select the pdf printer, then save it to your desktop, reply and attach as listed above.

The Motorola Q stinks. The e-mail doesn't go through MS Outlook either unless you purchase this separately. My son had 3 motorola Q's in 4 days all totally worthless.





My son now has the pocket pc and that checks e-mail but not sure if through MS outlook. I think more like a web browser and you can still download your e-mail to your home pc outlook.





Blackberry does e-mail too but again has it's own software. Truth is I just don't know which one does this. Call Verizon and ask.

Cannot Receive email via Yahoo when using MS Outlook.?

When testing my Yahoo settings on Outlook I keep getting an error message re the incoming mail server as follows:


Error message: Re: Log on to incoming mail server (POP 3):


Outlook could not connect to the incoming POP3 mail server because the server did not accept your user name and password.


I also get a dialogue box appearing headed: Enter Network Password. It gives Server name: pop.mail.yahoo.com and asks for my User Name and Password. I have tried changing my settings in many ways but error message and dialogue box keeps appearing. PS: I am using TALKTALK as my ISP.


Has anyone out there got a solution for this? Many thanks in advance.

I've been having the same problem. I can't forward anything from Yahoo to Thunderbird. I can forward from Yahoo to Yahoo, but not outside of Yahoo. It has always worked before. It has to be something with Yahoo.

How do I compose ALL of emails in HTML, even when I'm replying to a rich-text/plain text email?

I have all the appropriate boxes checked that indicate I should compose all emails in Outlook with Word editor. When I compose mail from scratch this is fine but when I reply to some emails (presumably they originated it in Rich/Plain text) my auto-correct/Word editor no longer works. I've selected HTML from the drop-down box and I've tried cutting and pasting the email chain into a new window and matching destination. Even this "shuts off" sometimes and is inconsistent. Please help.

Did you try this?





(I have 2007, I think my settings will be similar.)





Select Tools, Options. Select the Mail Format tab. Under Message format, click on internet format. Then where it says "Outlook Rich Text options" select "Convert to HTML format" from the drop down menu.

Look in the Spam bin, you probably didn't put the address in your address book.
Reply:You might also want to check your blocked list----the company address may have been blocked (accidentally).

IF you find that address on the list--click on it--click "remove block".

If it is Yahoo , then you can log in to your Yahoo mail account , go to POP Forwarding and see what addresses you need to put in ; for instance , I have a yahoo.co.in account , and I use mail.yahoo.co.in as the POP3 server address , and smtp.yahoo.co.in as the SMTP server address.





If it is a corporate email account , you will have to find out from your systems administrator , assuming that he will allow you to configure MS Outlook.





If it is a personal email account with an ISP , you will have to contact your ISP.

The very same thing happened to me. Eventually (almost a year later) I deleted all of my alerts and started from scratch. This was how I resolved the issue.
Reply:You might have to go the same route when you posted your search, you must have signed up for "alerts" at that time, and if your clicking on the link and it's not deleting the alerts, then you may have to wait a couple of days to have them process your request. It usually doesn't happen right away. Have patience.

it's called upload or attach dear... when you are at yahoo mail, go to compose them you can see the attach button beside the send button. then find the location where the picture is located whether it's on your computer or in your camera(make sure that your camera is connected) then click the open and wait till the attaching process is done. if you want to add pics, just do the same procedure den click send.

Probably your "attach" button is inactive. Sometime this problem appears and it comes from Windows system you have installed on your PC. Try to do same on another computer.

Can I configure MS Outlook to send an email with an attachment once per day?

This isn't for the purpose of spamming a list of people. I just want it to send an email with an attachment with a certain name once per day at a specific time. The attachment will be a different file, but the file can have the same name and path if that will make things easier.

You can't do it since SP2, because you have to allow Outlook to send the email (by clicking a button in a popup) - an anti-spam "feature". But you can write a trivial little CDO routine in any language (including VBScript) to do it, and have it run every day with the task scheduler.
Reply:I don't believe you can do it with outlook but yes, you're looking at some sort of spamming software which is illegal in a lot of places. Otherwise you would probably be able to do this with a script within Linux, not a windows system.





Not sure if shell scripting in windows supports this or not, but my answer is no, you cannot do this in MS Outlook.

When I type in the letter "a" in the "To:" Box, it begins to autopopulate addresses that I've never saved as a contact. I would like to copy all of these contacts (from a-z) to a word document.
