I'm writing an email. There's a "Save" icon on the toolbar at the top of the page. I click it, but nothing happens. The cursor turns into an hourglass for a second but that's all that happens. What is it saving it to?

So my english homework is due today but I'm sick and not going to class. Should I send him an email telling him this and attach my homework? I don't mind the absence, but I really want to give him the homework. He has said before "Don't email me unless I email you" to the class. What should I do?

The Chat conflicts with the standalone Messenger. The Mail conflicts with Chat. Not good. Anyway whats happening is Yahoo is fiddling with Chat. Which in turn messed our account up. So what I did is leave the Chat signed out.

Hello, i'm trying to install an email server software on a Windows 2000 Server but im getting this error...
The message that i'm getting during the installation of the email server software (hMailServer) is : The hMailServer setup has detected that one or several of the TCP/IP ports 25,110 and 143 are already in use. This indicates that there already is an email server running on this computer. If you plan to use any of these ports with hMailServer, the already existing server must be stopped.
My question is, how can i stop this service or server so i can install and use the hMailServer?

If you no longer know what district she teaches at but you do know what state she teaches in, you can go to that state's department of education website. There you can usually type in a teacher's first and last name and find out where they are currently practicing. You can then use that information to go to the district website and look up your teacher's e-mail. Hope this helps!

Have you received the email regarding giving the 89 billion AIG ballout to the 200 M taxpayers ?
There is an email circulating titled "This guy should be president" or " This is something I would vote for" suggesting that instead of bailing out AIG for $89B we should instead divvy it up between the 200M taxpayers for a payout of $425,000.00 each. He further suggests that this would allow the economy to reset itself as the taxpayers would then invest in more real estate, etc.
Did anyone else check the math? It's actually $425.00.

Technically, i mean if it is possible, Yup I think there is a way. Because email data contains your ip address and the particular time you sent it. Therefore, a reverse lookup of the email ip address would eventually lead to the ip address of the router serving your phone and then so on and so forth.
However, the beauty about these things is that even before they can start prying the phone number used during the sending of email, they have to face so many legal obstacles. Making it virtually impossible for them to trace the email back even if they can and they wanted to. =)

It could be your printer options because it worked for me. When I enlarged the font, as you said from the IE toolbar and printed an email, it was larger.

In order to embed a picture in the body of a yahoo email your photos needs to be web based on a site like:-

Then you can right click and copy the picture from the web site and paste onto the body of your email or your signature. This method will not work using the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.

Why do shortcut keys become active when I'm replying to an email?
The last few days, when I try to reply to an email and start typing in text, the shortcut keys are active and I can't type the shortcut key letters. It doesn't happen all the time. Anyone else having this problem?

Click "new" instead of "reply." Then you'll just have to type in the address of the person to whom you're replying. I suggest copying the address before you click "new," so you can just paste it into the address bar.

Using MS Outlook 2003, 2 profiles, how and can I change the default email template on only one profile? MC.?
I need to change the default template of ONLY one profile and not the other. This is being used with an outside program that sends a file using "send to email" option and opens a blank email with the file attached. The problem is that I need to have it open with a specific template or with pre-inserted info at the same time. The external program does NOT have any way to modify the info being sent to the email. Any ideas?

Why is it on my MS Outlook, when i send an email the spell check........?
.......does a check in English US even though under Options, Spelling, it is set to English UK?
Before the email is sent, for each word it thinks is wrong I do have the option through a drop down list to select English UK but this comes up for each word and is a pain. Mostly there isn't a difference in spelling, but there are some really obvious words that are spelt differently by US to UK.
This is not Outlook Express, this is just normal Outlook.
Any advice appreciated, but before someone states the obvious, I'll say it.......maybe I should just learn to spell??

When to use Miss, Ms., or Mrs. in a formal email?
Alright, so I need to email a lady back about an internship. It's a formal letter, so I don't want to address her by her first name.
I don't know if she is single, or married, or what.
Let's say her name is Stacy Jenkins.
So, would i use Mrs., Ms., or Miss Jenkins to reply to the email.
I know Miss is used if you're single, Mrs. if you're married, and Ms. if you're divorced, or a widow, but what if you don't know. Then which one do you use.

How do I stop MS Outlook from formatting my entire email when I only want to format my selection?
I'm having trouble with Outlook formatting my entire document with whatever I select (Bold, Italics, even bulleting!) For example, if I have a several lines of text (with paragraph returns) and I want to bullet a couple of lines in there. I highlight the lines, and hit the Bullet icon. Then the ENTIRE document (even empty paragraph returns) are bulleted. If I hit undo, then Outlook removes the bullets except for the line that I had highlighted in the first place. It's almost like a universal formatting that I can't get rid of. Can anyone help me?

You have to check your "Recent Activity" list.

What is happening if I'm getting junk mail from my own email address. Is someone using my address?
Probably not. What some spammers are able to do it 'snatch' your email address and 'stuff' it into their 'sender' slot as well as the 'recipient' slot on the email, so it looks like it is coming from you as well as going to you. This is just one of many tricks spammers try to get past the spam blockers. Just delete the email.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. When I copy something within my Yahoo email and then try to paste it into MS Word, my MS Word crashes. Why?
This problem does not occur with any other email or even from a website, causing me to have to forward the Yahoo message to another email in order to then copy the info and paste it in my MS Word. This is extremely frustrating.......... Help!!!

copy the text from yahoo mail
in word, in the Edit menu, choose past special, and choose unformatted text.

If I open yahoo mail in Firefox (instead of IE) it works. Yahoo needs to FIX this. We shouldnt have to take extra steps. I dont have this problem with any other email accounts.

How do I undo a delete in an email I'm composing?
I don't know why it happens, but sometimes I've typed for several mintues -- or an hour -- and I hit return or something and a whole paragraph -- or almost the whole email -- disappears! I can't figure out how to get it back and it's driving me crazy!

I used to be able to choose whether my original letter would be attached or not. I chose not to have it attached. Now when I answer someone's email mine or their original letter is on the reply letter. I can't find the option to change this back to the way I had it.

You can setup a new email address at www.gmail.com and then set it up to pull mail in from other email accounts. My current Gmail account is pulling from a couple of older ones so I am sure to get all my mail.

In MS Excel i want to add a button into a worksheet that Prints the worksheet and allows the user to email me?
How do i create a macro that does this as when i recorded one for print it takes them to the print preview screen and needs them to click print for it to continue. When i recorded an email button macro, i chose send to option and set up an email and sent it and stopped macro. This button does not work currently. any ideas?

You can create a hyperlink for both commands and add it to the worksheet.
It is a little winded to give you specifics but open your MS Excel.... go to excel help and the little paperclip pops up... type your question as ....

It will give you the instructions on adding one for the print command and also adding an email button.

It is a little winded to give you specifics but open your MS Excel.... go to excel help and the little paperclip pops up... type your question as ....

It will give you the instructions on adding one for the print command and also adding an email button.

I want to set up a new primary email address now I'm married but not cease the old one presently?
I have just got married and want to set up a new email address in my married name to be used as my primary address and import my contacts but not cease the old account as I will need to use my maiden name for a while for some contacts. What's the best way to set up a new account and handle both accounts?

You can setup a new email address at www.gmail.com and then set it up to pull mail in from other email accounts. My current Gmail account is pulling from a couple of older ones so I am sure to get all my mail.

How do i create a macro that does this as when i recorded one for print it takes them to the print preview screen and needs them to click print for it to continue. When i recorded an email button macro, i chose send to option and set up an email and sent it and stopped macro. This button does not work currently. any ideas?

regardless of the model, Tmobile puts a limit of 300 kb per pic message i would check with verizon to see what their limit is. you also want to check the phone's memory if you are not able to send ANY messages anymore.

Save you pictures on the desktop of your computer or any other location you know, signe into your email and compose new mail and just under where it says "subject" there is an attachment link click the link and follow the instructions carefully it will ask you where to look for the pictures and brows the location of your pictures ei, your desktop.

Reply:I had the same problem. This site below works as a temporary measure. It is a no-frills (and ad-free) yahoo site. At least you will be able to access your Inbox for anything urgent and when Yahoo finally fix whatever is causing the blank screen you can access the rest.

Florida Institute of Technology is my recently discovered dream school. I want to become a doctor and they have great science and pre-med programs. I play soccer now and I hope to play soccer in college too. I wanted to send the head coach an email, but I dont really know what to say.
