As long as you have your username and password for the email account then you should be able to set up the account on any computer. You need the server settings, something like pop.btinternet.com and smtp server as outgoing.

The Word庐 document you are trying to download cannot be opened with the version of Word庐 you have, even if you download the file.

I don't want to have to use my one email, I would rather use the free "firstname@lastname.name" provided by freeyourid.com (That's not an advertisement! I don't like the software, information, and services given, I just do it for the professional look.) than the one from my actual domain. Any way to do this using Mozilla Thunderbird? Where did you send the email? To Yahoo@yahoo.com? That won't go anywhere.

My pswd is rejected when tyring to use MS OE to get my yahoo email. I can use the yahoo web interface. help?
this happened when I changed my password from someone else's computer - I got my email when on vacation but when I returned and tried to login with MS outlook express, I was prompted for the new passwrod (I expected this) but I when I put in the new password, it fails and reprompts me - this happens over and over until I give up...is there some sneaky registry setting the MS puts in that I need to delete before I can reset the password that is passed by OE to Yahoo when I try to connect with OE?

You cannot get individual address/email address information at Yahoo Answers. You must find a people-search kind of website to find her. Most times you must pay a fee for the search - the free searches are not very good. Often, public records searches do not include email addresses.

It doesn't matter if you use Outlook, Outlook Express, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, etc.
As long as you're using some type of email program, and the e-mail address you're sending to is valid, then your message will get there. I have clients using all manner of programs, from Outlook to Mozilla Thunderbird, from Yahoo to MSN, all work just fine.

I used to have bigger font when I wrote email but now it's so small. I have to go to the font icon everytime where it says 1, 2, 3, etc... I don't want to have to do that. But I am annoyed with MS outlook because when I receive a junk email outlook beeps, Envelope shows up at the bottom, like new mail is in my mailbox, but its junk email and goes to my junk email folder. I'm trying to decide if having a seperate email just for my business is a good option. I check various websites daily for various reasons, but I really have only 1 main email account. I have at least 2 other accounts strictly for junk mail and am thinking about using one of those for business purposes. Also since I've started my business with my personal account, should I announce to those that I have already contacted thru the personal account about the change in email addys? I'm getting more than 200 junk emails everyday. I need to take care of this problem immediately. I tried spaming and unsubscribing. It's not working! This should not be happening.

Well unfortunately there is little that you can do, even spamming and unsubscribing from all of them probably will not work.
What I suggest is keeping that email address as a spam address and when ever you sign up for something on the net, use it and let them keep spamming that address and just mass delete every now and then. Also, do not forget, all those chain letters and stuff are the biggest cause of spam. When a spammer gets one of those emails, it is a gold mine for them; they grab the addresses off of them and start using them for their own spam. If you ever send one of those chain letters on, or anything that came to you with a ton of other peoples email address, use your spam address when forwarding it on to others, so it does not come back to you. Never reply to spam, it tell them it is a good address; it is a death nail for it. Then create a second address for the real email that you get from friends and business. You can always go back to a place that you have given your spam address and change it to your real address if you like the place and do not think they abuse email.

Which email account are you using?. Yahoo allows you to filter your mail based on certain criteria like subject, sender, keyword in the body etc.
The best and the fool proof way is to open a new email address.
Reply:What you use for e mail? I only use my primary e mail for close friends...I have other e mail accounts to do my internet bidding....If you have an e mail account through your isp then change the name and password....tell your friends and dont use it for anything else.
Reply:go to your options click on the link that says "Spam Protection" then choose "Immediately delete these messages upon receipt" that will delete all that goes to the bulk folder without you ever seeing them. You can always go back to a place that you have given your spam address and change it to your real address if you like the place and do not think they abuse email.

Reply:unsubscribing does not work, once you hit the links on the spam mail, the only thing it does is confirm the validity of your email address.
Which email account are you using?. Yahoo allows you to filter your mail based on certain criteria like subject, sender, keyword in the body etc.
The best and the fool proof way is to open a new email address.
Reply:What you use for e mail? I only use my primary e mail for close friends...I have other e mail accounts to do my internet bidding....If you have an e mail account through your isp then change the name and password....tell your friends and dont use it for anything else.
Reply:go to your options click on the link that says "Spam Protection" then choose "Immediately delete these messages upon receipt" that will delete all that goes to the bulk folder without you ever seeing them. I work for a small business that is purchasing a small business server with MS SBS 2003. Our company has many employees who will not need to get on the server but need to use our domain name for additional email users. Is there a good way to get around purchasing CALs for each email and still use outlook services for some of the accounts? When I would log into my yahoo messenger I could go into my email account to read new emails without having to log in once again to read them. you should have a list of your contacts pop up right beside your first list.
click on the contact you want deleted, (up top there is a delete button)
press delete.

I thoroughly understand, as some people can via ONE IM get through and be on your list like a moth to a flame for good...they can attach themselves to you...not cool...but hey great to know! I am still in the process of deleting people for if they were ever in your mail, regular Yahoo Mail...they WILL be in the latest Messengers as well...so when it is time to clean house...then hey! Do it! *wink!

How do I let Yahoo know I'm receiving undeliverable messages for email I never sent?
My quess is someone is spoofing my email because I am recieving undeliverable messages for email I never sent. Yahoo doesn't seem to provide any real way to contact them. It seems that the outgoing server (SMTP) is not correct or the port number, if this is a yahoo account try reading the help files on setting up mail in outlook, hope that helps.

The addresses and/or text doesn't disappear. It is in the activated window,(where you would usually write) that is right below the TO and SUBJECT fields.
You don't normally have to scroll to bring them to the top, but, it sounds as if you might need to--- just a tad.
The blank area at the top is there so you can tack a note on to the forwarded mail----Addresses are below that area and before the mail you are forwarding.
Then highlight those addresses and press the delete key on your keyboard and they're gone in a flash. Then send as usual.
The outgoing mail will be changed. Original remains unaltered--------but a copy of the changed mail goes directly into the sent folder.

In MS Excel i want to add a button into a worksheet that Prints the worksheet and allows the user to email me?
How do i create a macro that does this as when i recorded one for print it takes them to the print preview screen and needs them to click print for it to continue. When i recorded an email button macro, i chose send to option and set up an email and sent it and stopped macro. This button does not work currently. any ideas?

When I click on Craigslist to reply to an ad, I want that "click" to re-direct me to my Gmail email account and NOT to my Outlook email account. I am using Windows XP home edition for 2003.

There is a drop-down box for Email. Check to see if GMail is listed there, if it is, select it and then click on Apply, OK. If you are using IE7, these directions might not be accurate (I use IE6). Yahoo is a web based portal.
In order to access Yahoo's POP3 agent you must pay 20 a month, and sign up for Yahoo Plus.

** UPDATE: I was told to go to: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya... for my answer. However, it is not there. Let me try and be more clear. I can download yahoo mail to outlook. I have the server set up correctly, and I have no problem receiving or sending mail through outlook. My problem is that I have folders in Yahoo Mail that has email - I want to download mail that are in folders OTHER THAN the mail in my Yahoo Inbox. If I have a yahoo folder named "Friends" how can i move the email from the "Friends" folder on Yahoo to Outlook?
