How is it possible that I'm being spammed without my email address involved?

I keep getting email from spammers and they don't even have my email address in the "To:" box. How are they doing this and is there any way for me to block this from happening again?

check other email programs for options like these


open email program


choose options


choose block senders


type in address if you need to


most will do it for you after you click report as spam button

go to mail page


choose options top right corner of the page


then Filters


set it up


choose words like you see in email


mostly in subject line

Reply:Yes, it's possible %26amp; yes, you can block them.


Go to Options, then click on Block Addresses, from there you can type in their address.


Also when you get a spam e-mail click on Spam up above the message.
