How do I change my Default Email Editor from MS Outlook to my Gmail Address?

When I click on Craigslist to reply to an ad, I want that "click" to re-direct me to my Gmail email account and NOT to my Outlook email account. I am using Windows XP home edition for 2003.

Can anyone walk me through the process of changing the Default Email Editor from the old program to my new one?

Thanks so much!

Hi,

You need to download the Gmail notifier. Here's a link to the Gmail help page that explains what you need to do:

Hope this helps - good luck!
Reply:I don't have GMail, so I'm not sure this will work, but it might be worth a look. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, Internet Options. Click on the Programs Tab. There is a drop-down box for Email. Check to see if GMail is listed there, if it is, select it and then click on Apply, OK. If you are using IE7, these directions might not be accurate (I use IE6). Good Luck!
Reply:. from start menu click set Program Access and Defaults

2. check non micro soft box

3. click custom

5. check appropriate box
