How do I configure MS Outlook to work with Yahoo email?

MS Outlook is a POP3 client.

Yahoo is a web based portal.

In order to access Yahoo's POP3 agent you must pay 20 a month, and sign up for Yahoo Plus.

While some ISP's offer both like comcast, and roadrunner.

Yahoo charges you extra for the ability to use a POP3 client.

Reply:I give you a good news.. you can configure your Outlook to work with Yahoo email without spending any bucks :)

Try to sign up to Regional Yahoo mail account such as Yahoo.com.au, Yahoo.com.sg, etc, then you will able to sync it with Outlook.

Once you signed up, go to your Outlook and set up your SMTP to smtp.mail.yahoo.com.XX and POP3 to pop.mail.yahoo.com.XX (where XX is the country code in which Yahoo mail service you signed up before. Example: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com.sg' if you register for Yahoo Singapore).

Reply:Glenn is right - I have Outlook receiving my Yahoo mail but you have to join Yahoo Premium mail service. I think it's $20 a year or something - but I like a lot of the features.
